Michael Bolton is releasing Gems – the Very Best Of Michael Bolton on March 12th. The double CD package highlights Bolton’s career as well as the brand new studio album Gems – The Duets Collection, which features musical collaborations with Grammy Award-Winning group, Rascal Flatts, Oscar Award-Winning ComposerProducer, A.R. Rahman, Seal, Delta Goodrem, and the late vocalist Eva Cassidy, in a unique duet vocal production by David Foster.

'Shotgun', backed with 'Trigger The Alarm' will be the second single from Eugene McGuinness’ forthcoming much anticipated LP, due in June. It will be released digitally (RUG445D) on 26th March 2012.



Fire Records have announced their latest signings, New York trio Hospitality and will release their self-titled debut album on 9 April. Formed in 2007, Hospitality have evolved from a bedroom project to a 4-piece collaborative group opening for bands such as Stereolab, Wild Flag and Archers of Loaf.

Scottish indie band Admiral Fallow have announced a substantial UK tour for April and May, following the use of their track 'Squealing Pigs' during a Superbowl advert. The band’s sophomore album has been completed and handed over to the band’s new label Nettwerk. Recorded and mixed by Paul Savage at Glasgow’s Chem 19 (Mogwai, King Creosote) and mastered by Greg Calbi (Bon Iver, The National, Battles) at Sterling Sound NYC, the album, a follow up to their debut, Boots Met My Face, is due to land in May. A single, 'Beetle in the Box' will be released as an exclusive, strictly limited white label vinyl b/w a cover of the Associates song 'Party Fears Two' from selected independent stores in March.

Rhino Records have just released the soundtrack to the film Young Adult which stars Charlize Theron and Patrick Wilson. The film reunites the Juno team of director Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody. The bulk of the soundtrack features leading names of 90s alternative music including Teenage Fanclub, whose track ‘The Concept’ featuring prominently in the film, as well others including The Replacements, The Lemonheads and Dinosaur Jr. The album is completed with five minimalist instrumental versions of some of the era’s biggest alternative rock songs performed by Mateo Messina.
