Electra Heart at number one in midweek charts
Marina And The Diamonds' sophomore effort Electra Heart is at number one in the midweek album chart.
The position is Marina's highest ever, after her debut The Family Jewels peaked at number five, and follows a number 11 charting for recent single 'Primadonna'.
'Power And Control' is set to be the next single released from Electra Heart. Out on July 9th, the track was produced by Steve Angello from Swedish House Mafia.
As revealed yesterday, Marina has had to postpone her UK tour to June due to illness, but will still be joining Coldplay on their five-month US and European tour as their main support. Full rescheduled headline dates are as follows, with tickets still valid for every date:
June 18th Norwich Waterfront
June 20th Glasgow ABC
June 21st Edinburgh Queens Hall
June 22nd Manchester Cathedral
June 24th Leamington Assembly Hall
June 25th London Tabernacle
June 27th Cardiff Corn Exchange
June 29th Birmingham Institute
June 30th Sheffield Leadmill
