Columbia Records announced today that Bob Dylan’s new studio album, Tempest, will be released on September 10, 2012. Featuring ten new and original Dylan songs, the release of the album coincides with the 50th Anniversary of the artist’s eponymous debut album, which was released by Columbia in 1962.

The new album, produced by Jack Frost, is Dylan's 35th studio set and follows 2009’s worldwide best-seller, Together Through Life.
