Rewind Scotland 2012 - Saturday - Scone Place, Perthshire
21 July 2012
80s weekender Rewind Scotland returned to Scone Palace for its second year and was blessed with decent weather for Saturday's bash.
The event was headlined by Big Country, currently fronted by Alarm singer Mike Peters. Although the band were slightly classed as an alternative group back in the day the majority of Saturday's bill was made up from the cheesier side of 80s pop.
Ex Bronski Beat and Communards vocalist Jimmy Somerville did bring a bit of credibility to the proceedings alongside Midge Ure but it was actually the cheesier acts that made the day sparkle, with the ever youthful Sinitta, Right Said Fred and a recently reformed Five Star all going down tremendously with the youth re-living audience.
