The Jim Jones Revue will release their third studio album The Savage Heart through Play It Again Sam/Punk Rock Blues Records on 15th October. Produced by Jim Sclavunos (of Grinderman / Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), the album's nine tracks were recorded at The Chapel (Lincolnshire) and West Heath Yard (Edwyn Collins’ London studio) in May 2012.

Broken Hands have announced a co-headline UK tour with Deaf Club for this November. Tickets are on sale now, and full details are below. Their November 7th date at Sebright Arms is without Deaf Club.

Their new single 'Summertime In The City', recently added to the Radio 1 B List, is out on August 27th.

Fire Records have announced that they have added the legendary Pere Ubu to their roster of artists. A new album Lady From Shanghai is due for release in January 2013.

In advance of the release of their new ˇUno!, ˇDos!, and ˇTré! album trilogy, Green Day will look back on their career with the release of the eight-CD boxed set The Studio Albums 1990-2009 on August 27th. The collection treads the band’s journey from their 1990 debut, 1,039/ Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, through Kerplunk (1992), Dookie (1994), Insomniac (1995), Nimrod (1997), Warning (2000) and American Idiot (2004) to 2009’s 21st Century Breakdown. The set features each album in an individual CD paper-sleeve with original artwork, housed in a clamshell box.

Example announces a 16-date tour will follow the release of brand new single ‘Say Nothing’, taken from his third studio album The Evolution of Man out later this year.

Kate Rusby will release a new album on October 22nd to celebrate 20 years of making music. Entitled 20 the album features new recordings of Kate’s favourite songs from throughout her career.

Lower Than Atlantis have announced that due to manufacturing issues, their major label debut album Changing Tune will now be released on 1 October 2012 via Island Records. The first single from the album, “Love Someone Else” is currently available via iTunes
