Yummy Fur dates this weekend
Seminal Glaswegian indie band The Yummy Fur have reunited for the first time in eleven years and are set to play a series of one-off shows in the UK (9th Jan, Buffalo Bar, London -SOLD OUT; 10 Jan The Lexington, London) and their first ever tour of the United States. To further commemorate the anniversary of their demise, the band are releasing Piggy Wings, a collection of The Yummy Fur highlights assembled by leader John McKeown via What’s Your Rupture. This is the first time these songs have been available in over ten years and the first time ever in America. The UK shows also mark the fifteenth anniversary of their old label Guided Missile.
The compilation release date is still to be confirmed but you can hear a taster of it here in the form of free download ‘Policeman’ - http://www.whatsyourrupture.com/audio/Policeman.mp3
