Following a hugely successful UK tour and triumphant London headline show at the 02 in December 2009, Placebo are pleased to announce that they will be joining the bill at this year’s Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth on the weekend of July 30th – 1st August. Placebo will be joining a line-up that already boasts Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Slayer amongst others on the bill.

Having already had an incredible year to date which has seen the band play to over 1 million people across the globe and pick up MTV EMA’s Best Alternative Act award, Placebo are also set to release a new version of ‘Bright Lights’, mixed by Dave Bascombe (Soulwax, Goldfrapp, LadyHawke and Funeral For A Friend) on February 8th 2010 to continue where they left off in 2009.
