We've just had a listen to a track from new artist, James MacLaine, and it's blown us away. 'Burnt' is due for release on 10th February
and we can't wait to be able to share it with you but we're luck enough to be able to share it with you now...
MacLaine as worked with producer Jody Street to develop a unique sound. Street has, in the past worked with Beyonce and Rizzle Kicks, but his work with MacLaine has resulted in something entirely new.
James MacLaine is a double production award nominated singer songwriter from North West London who produces and plays guitar for MALKA. His debut alternative indie rock single ‘Burnt’, produced by Jody Street (Beyoncé, Rizzle Kicks) will be released on the 10th February and will be part of his self released self titled EP release later this year.
After fuelling his songwriting by performing at private events across the UK and Europe James began writing and recording his EP with Jody in Walthamstow in 2016. His raw acoustic singer songwriter sound along with Jody’s indie hip/hop influences creates a unique blend of musical styles that encompasses the energy from the lyrical theme of a broken relationship. James hopes his music will get any fans of Bon Iver, John Mayer and Jack Garrattto press play.
James is supporting another TMF favourite, MALKA, on 7th February at Servant Jazz Quarters so why not pop along for what is guaranteed to be two fantastic performances?
