Betti unveils a sultry cover of Toxic along with a seductive video

Currently on tour with Rag’n’Bone Man in Europe, having performed to sold out crowds at Elysée Montmartre in Paris, Ottakringer Brauerei in Vienna and Melkweg in Amsterdam, to name just a few, Betti, is pleased to announce details of a brand new version of Britney’s hit ‘Toxic’, showcasing the emerging Jazz-pop singer’s old world charm and elegant fragility.

The track as Betti explains, “"I was born in 1994, so when I was a young girl Britney was EVERYTHING. ‘Toxic’ has always been a favorite of mine, and with the help of my producer Jamie Kenney, we really brought to life a different side of the song that I felt was interesting. I hope people take a listen to the song and see it in a new light."

Recently signed to Decca Records, one of the most iconic record labels in the world, the beautifully mysterious vocalist, Betti, pushes boundaries, combining her Jazz routes with pop-sensibilities. With a sound that nods to both Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse, and a style that hearkens back to the age of burlesque, Betti has the ability to command any room.

But there's more than a seductive image to Betti: the Atlanta native possesses a hypnotic, versatile voice, one that can croon, coo or cry as the song dictates.

Betti’s debut single ‘Ordinary’ is out now and tells a tale of honest, real-life love. She evokes Ella Fitzgerald, drawing out the notes like honey dripping from a spoon. It's a gorgeous performance on a topic that can be far from fairy tale perfect.

Betti will perform an opening set for all Rag’n’Bone Man’s European dates, listed below.
